Sankyo Flutes was established in 1968 by two master craftsmen, Kikuo Hisakura and Hideo Takei. Their aim was to stand by their philosophy that "quality sound is created only with precise technique and within human hands". This year, Sankyo Flutes celebrate their 50th Anniversary, and continue to make flutes to an incredibly high standard that are played in orchestras all across the world.
